OMG, I can’t believe I finally finished my project. I wanted to create a birthday class for my clients. Hopefully I can get this launched by mid-April. After my exam last week, all I did was plunk myself into my stamping room. What a great feeling to be able to do this full-time. I only wish I can do this … not.
The purse was based on Becky Roberts‘ Template “Purse-onally Perfect Notes” and used the Crazy for Cupcakes and the Sock Monkey stamp sets together with the Thoroughly Modern DSP.

Here is a comment from Becky Roberts:
“Oh-Magosh Liz! This is fantastic. I am having the best time seeing all these purses and I LOVE the addition of the little pen! Great work!!”
I will show you these individually below.
As indicated before, this is Becky Roberts’ purse template. I attached a mini matching pen to the side of the pocket. Inside will have a post-it note for them to write a message. The centre piece of the clasp, I used the BOHO punch and added a brad in the centre. The semi-circle cut took me forever to figure out and have the cut cut perfectly from the our circle cutter. At first I couldn’t see the cutting line, so I finally took my marker pens and drew along the lines. I marked it at 6″, 5″, 4″ and 3″ in blue. This gives me a rough ideas as to where the cutting blade will lie. I hope this helps for those who have the circle cutter. Also, I placed a white tape behind the ruler so that I can see.
Back to the cards.
Card 1

Card 1 - stamped three balloons at various angles. I then paper piece each balloon and added the sentiment.
Card 2
Card 3
Card 4

Card 4 - water colored the cupcake image, and added crystal effect on the icing and flame. Below, I did a row of piercing and using the scor-pal to bring it out.
Thanks for stopping by, and please don’t hesitate to leave me a comment. I like to hear you.
Hugs,
