Spring is Here

OMG … look how cute they are. Spring is just springing.  I am working on a monthly 2-page layout for my Midnight Crop. It is also time to catch up on my albums, I figured that this is the way to do it. I came up with this layout using 8 pictures sized to 2.5 x 2.5 and the focal point sized at 5 x 5.

I wanted to incorporate stamping and die cuts, working with chipboards (Spring), punches, and COPIC markers. As I assembled the layouts (without pictures), I really, really had a hard time … choosing the colors, figuring the layout sizes, etc., and not only that but pleasing to everyone’s eyes. Anyways, I had it all lay out, and every time I looked at the two pages, pictures were still missing.

So, I went digging through my photo box and found these. These were taken when we were living in Surrey. I guess it was a birthday party for Fiona (our daycare lady’s daughter). Oh man were my boys young then. I figure Jordan is at age 2 and Ryan is at age 5. They grow so fast. :0)

2-page layout. These pictures are cut at 2.5 x 2.5 with certainly celery layer behind it. The focal point is cut at 4 x 5, layered with red riding hood at 4.25 x 4.25, and certainly celery at 5.5 x 5.5

Here is a closer look at page 1. Oh yes, I forgot to add the sweet always designer paper.
