Soft Summer Blossoms

What a beautiful day!  The sun is shining, and of course my boys are out of school and just waiting for their final exams.

This week is a right off for me.  I have been so busy helping Jordan with his final exams that I don’t have the energy to even think about stamping/creating.

Not only that, as I mentioned before, work is sending me up to Port Hardy, BC for Aboriginal Awareness Culture at the end of this month.  I fly on June 26 and returning June 29.  Just getting my gears together (packing).  The weekend will be spent with Kwakwaka’wakw Gigitus Indian Band and will be experiencing with their cultural of “potlatch”.  More details to come upon my return.

In the meantime, here is the card.  This is CASE’d … sorry I forgot the name who I cased this from … but I just wanted to play in my stamp room without thinking too much.  I love the color combination and the elegance of this stamp set.The flowers/leaves were stamped on whisper white, then colored in pink pirouette and kiwi kiss.  I restamped again, and cut out the flowers and popped them up.  The top and bottom edges were free-hand ripped. There is crystal effect used on the flowers … you cannot see it here.

Stamps: Soft Summer, Thanks, Itty Bitty Background
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Pink Pirouette, Kraft
Ink: Basic Black, Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss

Thanks for stopping by, and have a great week!

  1. Oh Liz! You never ever ever cease to amaze me! Your handmade cards are so beautiful. They are so professional. They beat store bought cards any day!!!

I am so pleased to have been taught by you and to see that you can still teach me so much about card making and rubber stamping!

I will be subscribing to your RSS feed and will keep a close eye on all that you do. I hope we get to collaborate again some day!

    Sincerely – your friend Cijaye.
