I finally had time to do a sympathy card for Dee’s family. I did this in a blue color as this is Dee’s favourite color. I hope they like it.
The flower was watercolored in Baja Breeze, cut out and popped up to give a 3-D look. It was then layered on whisper white, then on Pacific Point, Baja Breeze.
Rather than creating a normal card, I decided to make it into an easel. When the card is opened, the front sits behind the sentiment. I also brought the paper design to the inside so that there is a flow of continuity.
Here is the side view.
Papers: Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Pacific Point, SU DSP (Retired), Watercolor Paper
Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, Thoughts & Prayers
Accessories: Dimensionals, Baja Breeze Grosgrain Ribbon, Sissix Lots of Tags #4, Scallop Punch
