Exhausted & Pooped!

Hi Stampers,

Wow, what a week I had.  Just finished with the boys’ summer baseballs.  Both made it to the provincial tournaments and unfortunately both Stuart & I went away as a separate vacation to accommodate both boys.  Never had separate vacation before.  Stuart was in Mission with my youngest son, Jordan and I was my oldest, Ryan, in Prince George. Ryan and I left on Wednesday morning at 6:00 am and arrived in Prince George, BC by 4:00 pm.  We followed another player and his parents up.  The drive was fine until we read our speedometer going 140kpm.  No wonder we made it there in good time!  OMG, that was fast driving we (Ryan and I) ever done.  Luckily there were no cars on the road that early.

The team ended up with 1 win and 3 loses.  It was sad for them as the umpires were not making the correct calls.  Oh well you win some and you lose some.

Here are some pictures I took:

There are more, but I don’t want to bore you with them.  These are some of the action shots I have take with my D80 camera.

Oh, and the gorgeous sunset taken from my room.

Despite the boring evenings I had by myself I had a lot of time to think about my week, drumming some classes, designing, and getting ready for catalog kick off that just happened last Saturday.

Here are some of the guests at the make N take table.  Everyone was having fun making it.  Although the rain kept us all inside, the rooms were filled with laughters.  Lots of people came out to play and learn various techniques and most of all, the food was scrumptious.  All eaten up and none leftover for dinner.

And my little niece who just loves Stampin’ Up!  Here she has the two roses that was created in the demos.  So darling!

I can understand why they like it.  It is beautiful and simplified.  This set we used the Because I Care stamp set.
